Role Description
The SMSF Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing preparing financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs, dealing with an auditor ans dealing with the SMSF trustees. This is a full-time remote role that involves liaising with clients, preparing documentation for audits, supporting trustees with SMSF questions.
Qualifications
At least 7 years of
experience in SMSF accounting, including preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance reporting
Proficiency with BGL360.
Proficiency with FYI & XPM.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional client communication skills
Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulations governing SMSFs
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA certification)
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios in a remote work environment
Experience working in a high-growth or boutique professional services firm is an advantage
