We’re recruiting a Senior Accountant for a 100% advisory role within a flexible, modern firm. You’ll work closely with partners, contribute to client conversations from day one and build the commercial skills to progress towards Manager.
With no compliance workload, your focus will be on understanding businesses, interpreting their numbers and helping owners make informed decisions.
About the role
You’ll support clients in understanding their financial performance, identifying opportunities and planning their next steps. Working directly with partners, you’ll develop practical recommendations and take an active role in presenting insights to business owners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing financial information to identify trends, challenges and opportunities.
- Preparing insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Participating in client meetings and explaining financial information clearly.
- Working with partners to support business planning and advisory engagements.
- Building client relationships and following through on agreed actions.
- Taking greater ownership of engagements as you develop towards Manager.

About you
You’re a senior accountant who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers. You want more client contact, opportunities to develop your advisory skills and a clear next step in your career.
You’ll bring:
- Experience within an accounting firm, with exposure to business services or advisory work.
- Strong financial analysis skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to explain financial information in clear, practical terms.
- A personable approach and an interest in building trusted client relationships.
- Initiative and a willingness to take ownership of your work.
- The ambition to progress into a Manager role.
You may already work in advisory or be looking to move from a compliance-heavy position into a dedicated advisory role.
