The Opportunity
Join a progressive, values-driven accounting firm where you'll manage your own client portfolio, mentor a growing team and work closely with Directors. This is a genuine step-up role for someone who's ready to own their workflow and be a go-to technical resource.
The Role
- Prepare, review and finalise financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSFs
- Manage ongoing compliance, including BAS, PAYG, GST, FBT and TPAR
- Prepare tax planning figures, budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Liaise directly with clients, the ATO and external providers such as lenders
- Review work from junior and intermediate team members and provide feedback
- Delegate and support workflow planning across the team
- Identify opportunities to add value for clients
About You
- Degree in Commerce/Business with an Accounting major
- CA or CPA underway and close to completion (preferred)
- Solid public practice experience finalising jobs ready for manager review
- Strong technical knowledge across CGT (incl. SBE concessions), Div 7A, trusts, franking and super
- Confident using Xero (90% of clients), XPM, FYI Docs, Class Super and NowInfinity
- Advanced Excel skills
- Enjoy mentoring others and working as part of a collaborative team
