Role Overview:
My client is seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Advisory Manager to lead client engagements and manage a portfolio of clients. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic advice, oversee compliance work, and mentor a team of accountants within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-level business and tax advisory services.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work prepared by junior staff.
- Provide strategic business advice including cash flow management, structuring, and growth planning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, supporting their development and performance.
- Identify business development opportunities and contribute to firm growth.
- Oversee workflow management and ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with Partners on complex client matters and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Minimum of 6–8 years’ experience in public practice accounting.
- Proven experience in a Business Advisory or similar role at a senior level.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax and accounting regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
