ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an experienced business support professional with a background in the accounting industry?
Whether you're a skilled Administrator, Client Services Coordinator, Receptionist, Personal Assistant, Office Manager or Practice Manager - I'd love to hear from you.
I'm working closely with a range of high-performing accounting firms who are actively seeking confident, capable professionals to support their teams and keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Supporting a team of Accountants
- Scheduling client appointments and responding to enquiries
- Collating and professionally presenting client reports and correspondence
- Onboarding clients and ensuring a smooth transition
- Maintaining software systems with up-to-date client information
- Assisting in the preparation of advice letters and client documentation
- Coordinating workflow and managing compliance deadlines
- Preparing and sending invoices using Xero and managing debtors in line with policy
- Overseeing the reception team and ensuring alignment across admin functions
ATO, BAS & Lodgement Workflow
- Managing tax lodgement program (monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines)
- Lodging BAS/IAS for individuals, companies, and trusts
- Handling ATO correspondence, NOAs, Div 293s, ECCs, MyGov updates
- Managing ATO Portal workflows and ATOmate programs
- Submitting applications and updates (TFN, ABN, PAYG), payment plans, and GIC remissions
Corporate Services & Compliance Support:
- ASIC form lodgements (e.g. address or director changes), annual reviews, deregistrations
- Entity set-ups, ABN/TFN applications and related documentation
- ATO correspondence and managing lodgements (BAS, NOAs, Div 293, ECC, MyGov)
- Workflow management for BAS, tax lodgements, and ATO Portal tasks
- Disbursements, WIP, and client database maintenance
ABOUT YOU
You’re someone who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys being the person who keeps everything on track. You’ll bring a professional attitude, great communication skills, and solid administration experience within an accounting or advisory firm.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 2–5+ years’ experience in public practice or a professional services firm
- Is confident using Microsoft Office; knowledge of Xero, MYOB, CASBGL360, FYI Docs, and ATOmate highly regarded
- Communicates clearly, presents professionally, and builds trust easily
- Has excellent attention to detail, is proactive and reliable
- Can manage multiple tasks and priorities with ease
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
