This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assist driving our clients and business’s forward through innovative solutions. 
Duties include:
Preparing tax statements, financial statements and BAS statements at required intervals
Creating and returning statements and documents to clients by set deadlines
Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required
Preparing business income tax returns and statements for audits
Regularly reviewing systems and making updates and improvements where necessary
Engaging regularly with clients and maintaining strong relationships
Identifying areas where clients and businesses can reduce tax, make claims and increase profit
Possessing strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations
Understanding financial landscape and market trends
Providing technical support to other team members
Providing management and mentoring of Junior Accountants

Qualifications:
Degree qualified in one of the following fields;
Accounting
Finance or Economics
Business or Business Administration
Membership of accounting institution being Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Institute of Public Accountants (IPA)
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Ideally 2+ years experience in a similar role
Specific knowledge of Australian tax law, regulations, and acts
Comprehensive knowledge of client accounting software
